Most of us it seems are out there seeking to be different -
to stand out, be seen, be noticed.

But honestly, I find beauty in the way we’re all quite the same.

Same body, same bones, same collective heartbeat underneath it all.

So why are we trying so hard?

My two cents?
“Different” is simply disguised code for our desire to be our true selves.

And in a world where ‘real’ is getting harder to recognise — that’s the difference!

I’ll be real with you…
20-years in the wellness industry, expectations are endless and most narratives full of empty promises.

I admit, I tried but could never fully subscribe.
It’s not me.

I don’t enjoy the rush, the “quick fix” culture and the increasingly trending shorter workouts.

Especially in a time where slowing down, regulating your nervous system and remembering to breathe are the essential Survival Kit to modern day living.

So yes, I love to give us the full hour.

I love to remind us to breathe.
I hold the space slow enough so our bodies can catch up with our busy lives.

After years of practice my instruction is clear,
I cue in a way where most of my regulars do the class with their eyes closed — the biggest compliment you can give me!

You see for me, going inward has always been my safe place.
It’s how I’ve learned myself.
So naturally, I guide you there too.

But here’s the part you may not know…
You help *me* come outwards.

To connect. To lead. To stay out of my shell a little longer each time.
And I love you for that.

So if you’re craving something slower, warmer, deeper, if you want time to breathe, to feel, to land back in your own skin…

come join me.

Yes, you’ll stretch, strengthen, tone, get challenged and maybe even break a sweat.

But mostly, you’ll have had a workout that feels like coming home.

Because the world doesn’t need us to be different.

Did you know that when a caterpillar enters its cocoon, it completely dissolves?

Not kind of. Not partly. Totally.

Inside that cozy shell, it becomes a gooey soup of cells. The old form breaks down entirely - no legs, no eyes, no crawling creature.

✨Just potential. Just possibility.

From that formless mess, special cells called imaginal cells (yes imaginal cells!!) begin whispering a new design:

✨Wings. Flight. Color. Freedom.

It’s gooey in there, not graceful.
It’s transformation in its truest form: chaotic, uncertain and totally necessary.

If like me, you’re feeling like your life is in the goo right now… things feel unclear, undone, or uncertain - you’re not alone. You, me and all those becoming butterflies out there this spring. 🌱🦋

Remember, this is not the beginning, nor is it the end… it’s the messy middle.

✨ Real change requires the mess.
✨ Growth doesn’t happen in the comfort zone.
✨ This “messy middle” might just be our magic moment in disguise.

Take a stroll down Subiaco alley ways and side streets to see what to me is an urban gallery, filled with local street artists, inspiring messages, quotes and quirky design. It’s a lovely way to find magic in the mundane and talent in hidden places. 👩🏻‍🎨

This one is part of a mural and message by one of my favourite artists, Hayley Walsh, who’s cute, monster-like subjects serve as a whimsical metaphor for how challenging it can be to navigate the adult world.

For now I’ve done away with softwares and the 1001 ways of messaging, for my peace of mind I have most notifications switched off and I wouldn’t even recognise my own ring tone 😂🫣

In and out of classes, appointments and Spotify playlists, my phone is often on dnd but I will always get back to you when I’m done 🙃

So yeah, sms or voice message is my favourite way of communicating and we can use it to find a good time for a phone chat too. ☎️

Let’s simplify our lives, the constant dings, pings and buzzes and save on the booking fees too!

And just remember I’m a one Wonder Woman band, always wondering what I’ve forgotten this time… 🦸🏻‍♀️😅🤦🏻‍♀️

You’ll now find me merging with another passionate small business @ppiperth in West Leederville.

All the wonderfilled signature mindbodyheart classes with added 4-on-1 reformer classes designed for depth not crowds.

The West Perth chapter was a true tale of corporate villains and everyday heroes but I got tired of slaying the leasing dragons and made the tough decision to leave what doesn’t align with the wonderland values.

I will miss our beautiful creation of a wonderland studio but luckily I don’t have to miss the most important part of the story - YOU! My barefoot heroes! 🦸👣🦸🏻‍♀️👣🦸🏻‍♂️👣
